The Doll House Tea Room in Milwaukie, Oregon, just outside of Portland, offers Fabulous Dress Up Tea Parties that are a little girl’s fantasy come true!  Our Birthday Tea Party for Girls is an event that your special Birthday Girl will never forget! And the best part for you, Mom, is that we do provide everything but the gifts!

Our fabulous Dress Up Tea Parties are a little girl’s fantasy come true!  This party is complete with beautiful gowns and accessories, make-up, hair, a fashion show and tasty treats both savory and sweet.  Lots of personalization and attention to detail make this a most memorable party for everyone.  It is sure to be a birthday your little princess will never forget!!

Everything for our Girls’ Fantasy Tea Parties includes:

• Custom invitations specific to your special party
• Over 175 gowns in sizes 2T-Women’s 20
• Accessories such as boas, hats, shoes, and (of course) JEWELRY!
• A tiara for the Birthday Girl to wear during the Party
• A trip to the on-site salon for hair and makeup to be done by our staff for all the girls
• Fashion show with a group picture for the birthday girl to take home
• Party favors from the Treasure Chest
• Great Tea Party/Lunch with the foods kids love most
• Our signature decorated birthday cupcakes

We do it all!  All parties are at our charming tea room, which is fully decorated with elegance and an atmosphere sure to delight any party princess.  We create the wonderful world of make-believe, for the best party ever!

The cost is a flat rate of $275 for up to 8 party participants plus $20 for each additional child with a maximum of 16.  Reservations should be made at least 2 weeks in advance so invitations can be out in a timely manner.  Sometimes we are able to accommodate parties with less than two weeks advance notice so please contact us if this is the case.  However please keep in mind that your preferred time and date may not be available if you wait too long.  A deposit of $100 is required to secure the date and time.   In all fairness, the reservation will be given to the one who provides the earliest deposit.  The Dress-up Tea Parties usually last 2 hours and are offered 10:00 am through Noon; 12:30 pm through 2:30 pm; and 3:00 pm through 5:00 pm.  Saturday is our most popular party day but we can accommodate parties any day of the week.

The earliest age birthday celebrated is age 4. While boys are welcome, they have made it very clear that they are bored because there is nothing for them to do while the girls are in the salon. (Brothers sometimes enjoy being a photographer with a disposable camera.) Keep in mind that more than one boy changes the whole dynamic of the party.

Parents, Grandparents, and other interested parties are invited to attend; however, space is somewhat limited. Adults are served cookies and beverages at no additional charge. Cameras are welcome and encouraged.  You’ll want lots of pictures for friends, relatives and that special scrapbook.
